“On Friday, after it became clear that
Arlin's dog does not have the specific certification required in Trans Link’s
rules, but rather a medical certification issued by a doctor, the company said
it is investigating her complaint.”
The following was an email from CTV News reporter Peny Daflos:"Hi Lisa I'm sorry but I don't think I' ll be able to do anything else for you."
"Service animaks in BC have to be properly trained, and accredited, and right now you can just say " he is a service dog and gave that be recignized." She was wrong!
Section 2 (a)of the Guide and Service dog Act: Says not to deny service or interfere with the use of a service dog!
People have asked do I know the difference between a service dog and a pet? I was accused that he was not a service dog. Stop interfering!
A vest isn't necessary or is producing a guide dog certificate! A guide or service dog dose not just have to be from the credited schools. I did not even have to show my medical certificate or prove my disabilty!
If any one asks if he is a pet or a real service dog non of your dog gone business. That being said is why the guide dog certificate was put in place to simplify acess . People and business would not stop interfeering!
A guide dog certificate is not required or mandatory! I encourage anyone to call the Security division at the Minister of justice office in Vicyoria BC who said "Let Charlie ride the Bus."
It a real shame I am not the only one being denied service or humiliated about Charlie being a service dog!
Respect the service dog!!!
